MOVIES - Warner Bros./DC has officially confirmed that the role of Batman will be none other than Ben Affleck.
41-year old Affleck recently won an Academy Award for Best Picture for his 2012 film Argo (if you haven't seen it, I'd highly recommend it).
The Man of Steel sequel will feature the epic battle (and possible teaming up) of DC's Batman and Superman. The announcement for this film and showdown between the two characters was announced at San Diego Comic Con in July. You can check out a video of the announcement below..
The sequel will be directed by Zack Snyder (Man Of Steel, 300) and written by screenwriter David Goyer. The film is expected to hit theaters on July 17, 2015.
