Here's Why You Should Go To The 'Punk In Drublic' Festival in Concord
Next Saturday in Concord, the Concord Pavilion will play host to a show that is surely much needed in this day and age, a music and beer festival filled with some of the best punk rock bands the world has to offer, mixed in with free beer. What more could you possibly ask for?
Fat Mike, the lead vocalist and bass player for the Bay Area’s own NOFX, has teamed up with Stone Brewing and Rockstar Energy to present the “Punk In Drublic Craft Beer & Music Festival”, named after the popular NOFX album from the 1990s. Joining NOFX on the stage will be Flogging Molly, Goldfinger, Less Than Jake, Bad Cop/Bad Cop, and Get Dead, rounding out one of the most well-assembled punk rock lineups of the year (the tour has hit various cities throughout the US, each with a minor variation in the lineup).
To add to the excitement of this festival, the show will feature up to four hours of craft beer tasting, with over 100 craft beers to taste from. In addition to the tasting, Stone Brewing and NOFX have teamed up to present the “Punk In Drublic Hoppy Lager”, a limited edition beer that will only be available at the festival dates.
