10 Artists To Check Out at ID10T Festival

A fun-filled weekend of adventure, music, gaming, comedy and SO much more awaits you at the debut of this year's ID10T Festival. The event, created and curated by Chris Hardwick, will be coming to Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA on June 24 and 25, 2017. We'll be providing plenty of great coverage leading up to and during the festivities, and we're going to kick things off with a sampling of artists that we think you should check out during the weekend. Here are our top ten picks for ID10T Fest:

Weezer
Performing: Saturday, June 24th
You can never go wrong with a little bit of Weezer. The band is set to headline on Saturday night, and it will be the band's first trip back to the Shoreline since performing last summer with Panic! At The Disco. The Rivers Cuomo fronted act is currently on the road of their highly acclaimed White Album, which was released last summer. Given their diverse catalogue and high volume of sing-along prompting tracks, Weezer are sure to be a promising headliner for night one.

OK Go
Performing: Saturday, June 24th
Truly one of the most visually captivating live bands, both on and off the stage, OK Go are easily going to be one of the showstoppers of this year's festival. Given their incredible and immaculate attention to detail in both their music and live performances, we can guarantee that their show will be one for the books. Have you seen the mind bending video they released earlier this year for 'One Moment'? Watch it and see what we're talking about before you head out to the festival.

Car Seat Headrest
Performing: Saturday, June 24th
Originally beginning as a solo project from the mind of vocalist/guitarist Will Toledo, Car Seat Headrest has morphed into a promising indie/alternative rock act that has slowly been surely taking the world by storm. Toledo and Co. will be making their stop at Saturday's date of ID10T, and it's almost certain they'll be performing material from their most recent effort, 2016's Teens of Denial

The Mowgli's
Performing: Saturday, June 24th
From their name to their infectious indie-rock tracks that make you want to dance and sing, The Mowgli's are truly a feel-good band. It's impossible to not find yourself moving to their music in some capacity, whether you're screaming the words at the top of your lungs or merely tapping your foot. The attendees of the Saturday date of ID10T Fest are guaranteed to be in for a treat when these guys take the stage. And Bay Area, you better be ready to sing the words to "San Francisco"!

Girl Talk
Performing: Sunday, June 25th
It's easy to hear that after just one listen, Girl Talk brings a new meaning to the word "remix". His songs consist entirely of mashups across every genre you could possibly imagine. It's hard to even put it into words, so you can give one of his tracks a listen for yourself in our festival playlist below. But believe us when we say that he is an act in not just dance music, but the entire spectrum of live music, that you do not want to miss.

TV On The Radio
Performing: Sunday, June 25th
One of indie rocks finest acts, TV On The Radio will be making a return to the Bay Area on the Sunday date of ID10T Fest. While the band haven't released a new record since 2014's Seeds, fans are sure to welcome them with open arms as they play material from Seeds and 2011's Nine Types of Lights. Their well-polished brand of indie and alternative rock is sure to be a highlight of the Sunday date of the festival.

Animal Collective
Performing: Sunday, June 25th
Experimental pop band Animal Collective have been making waves within the music industry with a brand of music that is quite unlike anything out there in the world. The band will be making a highly coveted stop at ID10T on Sunday the 25th. While the last full record they release was 2016's Painting With, the band released a short EP entitled Meeting of the Waters earlier this year (fun fact: Meeting Of The Waters was recorded in the Amazon rainforest, and it was documented by Viceland.)

Crystal Castles
Performing: Sunday, June 25th
Hailing from Canada, the electronic music duo known as Crystal Castles are guaranteed to put on one hell of a show. They are currently touring in support of 2016's Amnesty (I), and are world-renowned for their highly energetic and chaos-filled live shows. Their set at ID10T Fest will be one to remember.

Madeon
Performing: Saturday, June 24th
Fresh off of a massively successful collaboration project with producer Porter Robinson, twenty-three year old French producer Hugo Leclercq, aka Madeon, will be bringing his captivating live show to the Mad Decent Dance Tent at this year's debut ID10T Fest. His songs are beautifully constructive, and combined with a mesmerizing live show, will make for the perfect headlining set in the Dance Tent.

Zeds Dead
Performing: Sunday, June 25
Dylan Mamid (DC) and Zachary Rapp-Rovan (Hooks) make up the Canadian EDM duo known as Zeds Dead. With an impressive studio album (2016's Northern Lights) and a great deal of touring under their belts, they are the perfect choice to close out the festival on Sunday night in the Mad Decent Dance Tent.
