Yes, you’re reading this correctly: Okilly Dokilly, the world’s only “Nedal” band, inspired by The Simpsons’ Ned Flanders character, appeared on an episode of the very show it was inspired by this past Sunday. An extended clip of their 2016 music video, “White Wine Spritzer”, was shown throughout the end credits. Via press release, vocalist Head Ned stated the following about the momentous occasion for the band:

"Myself and everyone involved with OKILLY DOKILLY are so very honored. The fact that the 'White Wine Spritzer' video appeared on an episode of The Simpsons is still unreal to us. We are very excited and beyond humbled to have been a part of the show's legacy."

Additionally, executive producer and showrunner of The Simpsons, Al Jean, added the following comment:

"We saw the video and knew they had to be on the show. We do not endorse their message of indiscriminate drinking of white wine spritzers."

You can view the end credits clip featuring the video for ‘White Wine Spritzer’ below, in addition to brand new music video for the song “Reneducation”, from the band’s new album Howdilly Twodilly (available now!)
