Napa's Blue Note To Close, Announces Final Shows

Blue Note Napa has announced that it will be closing its doors at the end of the year with a New Year’s Eve show featuring Brian Culbertson. The venue has been around since opening in 2016, and has featured performances from artists like Chris Botti, Kenny G, David Sanborn, Carlos Santana, Billy Gibbons, Al di Meola, Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, and Bob James.

Ken Tesler, the Managing Director of Blue Note Napa, stated the following:

Blue Note Napa has always been about bringing people together through great music and shared experiences. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built and grateful to the artists and audiences. I would especially like to give a special shout out and huge thank you to the Napa community that embraced and supported us through the past 9 plus years. We would not have been able to accomplish what we have without the incredible Napa locals. Though our time at the Opera House is ending, this is far from the end - it’s an evolution. While continuing our significant outdoor presence in Napa Valley we are looking forward to the very exciting opportunity for Blue Note in San Francisco.

The club is currently looking towards moving to the San Francisco area. Steven Bensusan, the President of Blue Note Entertainment Group, stated the following:

As we look ahead, we’re excited about the opportunity to finally bring Blue Note to San Francisco. The Bay Area has such a rich musical heritage, and we’ve long envisioned having a presence in the city. We look forward to creating a space that reflects the energy and spirit of the San Francisco while staying true to the intimacy and authenticity that define Blue Note.
