New Trailer Arrives For Dramatic Boxing Thriller "Heavyweight"

A new trailer has arrived for a forthcoming tense British boxing drama called Heavyweight, has arrived ahead of the film’s premiere at the 33rd Raindance Film Festival on June 18th, 2025. The film, directed by Christopher M. Anthony, and stars Jason Isaacs, Nicholas Pinnock, and Jordan Bolger, and is being release via Blackwater Pictures.

A plot synopsis is as follows:

HEAVYWEIGHT follows wildcard boxing contender, ‘Diamond’ Derek Douglas (Bolger), and his support team ahead of a title fight he doubts he can win. The pressure escalates in real-time, as dirty tricks and revelations are revealed. ‘Heavyweight’ is an intense and visceral experience exploring a side of elite sport rarely seen.

The film was produced by Kevin Harvey, Antoine Dixon Bellot, and Tiernan Hanby. The film also stars Jamie Bamber, Sienna Guillory, Blake Harrison, and Joplin Sibtain.
