When We Were Young To Take Year Off, Will Return in October 2027

When We Were Young Festival has announced that it will be taking a year off and returning to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in October 2027. The festival has become a staple in the scene since it premiered in 2022, where it boasted a lineup of nearly 70 acts including My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Bring Me The Horizon, A Day To Remember, and countless reunion performances from bands big and small. The last few years have included headliners like Blink-182, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, and My Chemical Romance performing The Black Parade in full for the first time since 2008.

Last year’s festival featured headlining performances from Blink-182 and a special set from Panic! At The Disco, whose sole member - vocalist Brendon Urie - brought the project out of retirement for a special hometown performance of the band’s debut album A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out.

You can view the full statement from the festival below, and you can check out our coverage from last year’s festival here.

“To Our When We Were Young Family,

The songs, the memories, the moments - none of it exists without you. After an unforgettable run in Las Vegas, we’ve decided to take 2026 of to give this festival the care it deserves and to make sure what comes next feels just as special as what came before.

When We Were Young Festival will return to Las Vegas in October 2027.

Thank you for showing up with your whole hearts every year. This isn’t goodbye - it’s just a pause.

We’ll see you in 2027.”
