Ed Sheeran and Martin Garrix Release Collaboration "Repeat It"

Years ago, producer Martin Garrix and singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran teamed up on a song called “Repeat It”. The track never ended up getting a proper release until now. In a statement to fans, Sheeran stated the following:

“Me and Martin Garrix made Repeat it 12 years ago after we made friends on a night out in Amsterdam. At the time I was in the middle of Multiply rollout, and the song just never ended up coming out for whatever reason. Me and him have remained mates for all that time, and we’ve spoken about it often about when would be a good time to put it out. He turned 30 this weekend, and is putting out his debut album this year, so seemed like a better time than any to finally do it. We got to play it live for the first time in Santiago on Friday, and it was one of my favorite moments of my career. Reminds me to just trust in the fun of music sometimes and stop overthinking it. Also, not for nothing, but I’d say every day fans leave comments under my posts asking where it is, so this one is for you guys. Happy Birthday Martin, and to the fans, enjoy the video, its clips from both our lives over the last 12 years and what we’ve been up to since we finished it in a studio in the mid west of America on tour in 2014. It’s gonna be fun playing this all summer. Music video live on YouTube now. Loads of love everyone - Ed x”

The duo released an official music video for the track, incorporating footage from the initial creation of the track and its live performance debut in Santiago this past week. You can check out the video in its entirety below.
