Mayday Parade Announce New Album 'Sugar', Release New Single "Weekend Music"

Mayday Parade has announced that they will be releasing their brand new album, Sugar, on July 24th, 2026, bringing their three-album trilogy to a close. The band has also released a new single and accompanying music video, titled “Weekend Music”, which you can check out below.

In a press release announcing the new album, vocalist Derek Sanders stated the following about the album and “Weekend Music”:

“When we began working on Sugar - part three of a three album release - I started to get concerned that we had overextended ourselves. That the good ideas had run dry and needed more time to replenish. ‘Weekend Music’ is one of the songs that came together and put me at ease, it has the catchiness and complexity that I was looking for. It feels good to be able to create a song that we’re proud of so deep into our career.”
