Weezer Announce 'Gold Album', Release New Song "We Might As Well Be Strangers" Featuring Wednesday

Weezer has announced that they will be releasing their brand new album, Weezer (The Gold Album), on August 21st, 2026. This is the follow-up to the band’s SZNZs project, which found the band releasing four different albums throughout 2022 for Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.

The band has released a brand new track from the forthcoming album called “We Might As Well Be Strangers”, featuring Wednesday. You can check out the track, along with the album artwork and track listing, below.
