Mayday Parade Release New Single "Lying To Myself"

Mayday Parade has released a brand new single and lyric video titled “Lying To Myself”. The track comes from Sugar, the band’s new studio album set to be released on July 24th, 2026. Sugar will act as the conclusion to the three-album trilogy the band has been releasing over the last year, following April 2025’s Sweet and October 2025’s Sad.

In a press release announcing the new song, guitarist Brooks Betts stated the following:

“I had worked on this song for a month and couldn’t get the vibe right until Alex gave me the idea to go a bit more minor with the chorus and the whole thing just fell into place.”
