Mastodon Announce New Album 'Marrow Deep', Release New Song "Snakes For Dinner"
Mastodon have announced that they will be releasing their next full-length album, Marrow Deep, on August 28th, 2026, via Loma Vista Recordings. It is the band’s first full-length album since 2021, and it is the first album without the inclusion of lead guitarist Brent Hinds, who passed away in August 2025.
The band has also unveiled a brand new song and music video titled “Snakes For Dinner”, with an appearance from Queens of the Stone Ages’ Josh Homme.
Additionally, the band will be heading out on a tour in support of the album later this year, with dates set to kick off on September 16th in Orlando, FL, wrapping up on October 24th in Dallas, TX. A Bay Area date is set for Oakland’s Fox Theater on October 9th. Deafheaven and Alcest wil support on most dates.
