Cartilage Premiere New Song "The Sanguine Fiend"

San Francisco-based gore metal act Cartilage has unveiled a brand new song titled “The Sanguine Fiend”. The track comes from the band’s forthcoming album Operating Altar, which is set to be released on September 11th, 2026 via Everlasting Spew Records.

In a press release announcing the song, vocalist Mark Wallace stated:

“Symposium slathering selfish surgeon's symbols strewn sequentially in this sinister serial slasher hymn titled ‘The Sanguine Fiend.’”

You can check out the track in its entirety below. The band will perform a Bay Area date at San Francisco’s Mabuhay Gardens on September 19th, 2026.
