Nautics Announce Debut Album 'People Only Like Me When I'm Leaving'

Rising New York City-based band Nautics has announced that they will be releasing their debut album, People Only Like Me When I’m Leaving, on September 25th, 2026 via Bright Antenna Records. The band has also debuted a new track, “knee/touch”.

In a press release, frontman Kenzo Repola stated:

“The song came from a slightly near death experience on tour. Realized we weren’t where we wanted to be in our relationships. Realized we wanted to be closer to each other.”

Bassist Van Cameron continued:

“While distracted by blonded radio, I nearly drove our car into the intersection. Inspiring us to write a song about time and loss.”
