Ohio metalcore act The Devil Wears Prada have announced that they'll be hitting the road this fall for a special tour in support of their third studio album, 2009's With Roots Above And Branches Below. The ten-year anniversary for the band's groundbreaking album, released on May 5, 2009 via Ferret Music, will be coming up next year, and the band are heading out on a short tour in celebration of its release. The band will be supported on each date by Fit For a King and '68. In a press release from the band's team, vocalist Mike Hranica stated the following in regards to the tour and the album:
"In anticipation of 10 years of WRAABB, we'll be playing the record front to back through the end of this year. Us dudes in the band appreciate record anniversary tours — and with that we wanted to offer the same. We've been looking forward to this for the last year or year-and-a-half — please enjoy."
The 'With Roots Above and Branches Below' Tour will kick off on September 27th in Seattle, WA after they wrap up a support run for Parkway Drive across North America. The tour will conclude on October 12th in Springfield, MO. VIP tickets can be found here, and general tickets go on sale this Saturday, August 4th at 10 AM, local venue time.
