Earlier this morning, pop icon Madonna announced that she would be embarking on a U.S. headlining tour, dubbed the “Madame X” Tour. This particular run of shows is set to more unique than previous shows, as it is a series of rare and intimate performances taking place specifically in theaters rather than arenas.
Live Nation announced that, due to overwhelming demand, additional shows will be added for ticket request along with the original shows from now through Friday, May 10th at 11:59pm EST. To further elaborate, Live Nation has announced that, in lieu of being able to purchase tickets right away, fans will need to place a ticket request. This ensures that fans have best access to these shows. According to the official press release, fans will be able to select city and show preferences plus their preferred price points prior to completing their request. All ticket prices will be scaled between $60.00-$760.00 (plus service fees), and will come with a copy of Madonna’s newest album Madame X, available via Interscope Records on June 14th.
The “Madame X” Tour will kick off on September 12th in New York, NY at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House, and will run through November 25th in Los Angeles, CA at The Wiltern. More shows will be announced for the Chicago Theatre, The Colosseum at Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas, the Boch Center Wang Theatre in Boston, The Met Philadelphia, and the Fillmore Miami Beach at The Jackie Gleason Theatre.
