David Byrne Announces New Album, 'Who Is The Sky?', 2025 World Tour Dates
Former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne has announced that he will be releasing a brand new album, Who Is The Sky?, on September 5th via Matador Records. The album is the singer-songwriter’s first in seven years. For this album, Byrne collaborated with Ghost Train Orchestra and Kid Harpoon (aka Tom Hull). The first new track from the album, “Everybody Laughs”, can be heard below.
Byrne will also be hitting the road for an extensive world tour, kicking off on September 14th in Providence, RI, and will wrap up in Paris, FR on March 19th, 2026. Two Bay Area dates are set for November 16th and 17th in San Francisco, CA at The Theater at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
