Brian Wilson, Visionary Musician and 'Beach Boys' Founding Member, Dies at 82

It is being reported that Brian Wilson, founding member of The Beach Boys, has died at the age of 82. in a statement on his personal page, his family stated the following:

“We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved father Brian Wilson has passed away.

We are at a loss for words right now.

Please respect our privacy at this time as our family is grieving.

We realize that we are sharing our grief with the world.

Love & Mercy”

Often called one of the greatest musicians of our time, and maybe the single biggest influence on pop music outside of The Beatles, Wilson was an integral member of The Beach Boys, releasing iconic albums with both the 60s group as well as through his own solo material.
