Boston Manor Release Acoustic Re-Imagining of "Laika"

In honor of the release of the 10th anniversary edition of their album Be Nothing., Boston Manor has released an acoustic reworking of their track “Laika”.

On the ten year anniversary, bassist Dan Cunniff stated:

"For me; writing and recording Be Nothing. was one of the most exciting things we had done at that time. Doing the “band thing” for many years previous to Boston Manor, I'd always wanted to be involved in writing a full length record but never had the opportunity to do it properly. So by the time the opportunity came round, I felt like we were all hyper focused on what we wanted to achieve and also keeping in mind what this record would sound like in 10 years from that point. That being said; I think we achieved our goals with Be Nothing. because I believe this record holds up even today 10 years on. The record did more than we thought it would do for us. It opened up so many doors, especially in the touring world. Having the opportunity to travel all around the world because of one record is pretty insane!”

You can check out the new version of “Laika” below. The band is getting ready to head out on tour later this year with Ben Quad, Spaced, and Super Sometimes. A Bay Area date is set for November 22nd at San Francisco’s August Hall.
